The Geekly Weekly began in 2016 as a way for me to publicize my books and articles -- and also as a way to vent about tech-related issues. It has since evolved into a tool I use to inform those who are interested (but not necessarily expert ) in technology. The goal of TGW is to review tech items for consumers and to provide information about happenings in the tech industry that might affect them. (And, OK, I might still rant a bit.)
If you have topics you'd like to see covered (or items you'd like to see reviewed), please leave a comment. If it's relevant, I'll try to get to it as quickly as possible.
Full Disclosure: Companies that send us hardware or software often let us keep that material; often it's not worth their while to pay for return shipment. When that happens, we'll give those goodies away, if possible. Pay attention to my Facebook posts for announcements about giveaways. (I mean, frankly, I don't need a drawer full of hard drives, cameras, cables, mice, etc. I'd just as soon give that stuff away; doing so helps spread the word about TGW, so it's a win-win: I get publicity, you get swag.)
Even Fuller Disclosure: If you buy something having clicked on one of the links included in a TGW article or post, we get a few pennies from that purchase. (Our commission does not affect your purchase price.) Note that, if we review an item, we try to be as objective and honest about it as possible; a company's cooperation is a marketing consideration, not an editorial one. If we don't like an item, we'll say so.
That's it! Thank you for reading The Geekly Weekly. Don't forget to sign up for email notification about new posts. Just enter your email in the "Follow TGW by Email" textbox in the sidebar.
